You can safely and securely link your Forrit debit card to your smartphone and shop in places that accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. It’s secure, quick and easy!
- Save time – you can simply pay by holding your smartphone over the payment device and complete most transactions within a few seconds.
- Enhanced security – Data stored in your mobile wallet is encrypted, therefore your actual card numbers are not used while making a payment, this adds an extra layer of secure protection against fraud.
- Less is more – Less plastics in your wallet, less receipts to sign, and more freedom when shopping on the go.
- Shop online – You can also use your mobile wallet to make purchases online and within apps. Using mobile wallet to shop online means you can reduce the number of places where your card information is stored.
How to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay?

- Unlock your mobile device.
- Hold your mobile device over the card reader until it beeps or vibrates
- Your transaction is complete!
Apple Pay

Get started:
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone
- Tap the Plus (+) icon, select the card type, then select continue
- Take a photo of your card, or enter your card information manually
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete verification
- If you are prompted to be verified by Forrit Credit Union, please connect with us at 503-275-0300 (option 1) during business hours.
- To set your Forrit CU debit card as your default card, go to Settings à Passbook & Apple Pay, tap “default card” and then select your Forrit CU card.
- You’re ready to go!
Google Pay
Get started:
- Open the Google Pay app on your Android phone
- Tap the Add + icon, then select Add a Credit/Debit Card
- Take a photo of your card, or enter your card information manually
- Enter your card’s information, including expiration date, CVC code, and billing address, then select Save
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete verification
- You will be prompted to be verified by Forrit Credit Union, please connect with us at 503-275-0300 (option 1) during business hours.
- You are ready to go!
Samsung Pay
Get started:
- Open Samsung Pay app on your Samsung phone
- Tap Add Credit/Debit Card
- Take a photo of your card, or enter your card information manually
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete verification
- You will be prompted to be verified by Forrit Credit Union, please connect with us at 503-275-0300 (option 1) during business hours.
