Checking accounts are increasingly necessary, and past financial problems shouldn’t be a reason to deny service. Forrit’s Refresh Checking Account allows you access to a checking account without restricting funds or denying essential services.

Not everybody offers a second chance, but Forrit believes that you deserve a Refresh.

Details:

• No minimum balance requirements
• $10 minimum deposit to open
• $10 monthly service fee (reduced to $5 if the account is set up for direct deposit OR has an average daily balance of $100).
• Access to free online and mobile banking services – bill pay, e-statements, My Credit Score and more!
• Visa debit card with access to over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs

* Available to members 18 or older. Eligibility for this account is extended to individuals who experienced difficulties in obtaining a traditional checking account, subject to approval by Forrit Credit Union. The minimum balance required to open is $10 and no minimum balance required. Monthly fee of $10. Fee reduced to $5 if account has direct deposit or an average daily balance of $100 is maintained in the account. The fee will never be less than $5. This is a non-interest bearing account. Refresh Checking is not eligible for checks, overdraft protection and Courtesy Pay. Mobile deposit allowed with limitations. Members who maintain their Refresh Checking in good standing for 12 months may upgrade to any of our standard checking accounts.
