Forrit CU is thrilled to host a Holiday Food Drive to directly benefit Century High School students! From November 12th through December 11th, we’re calling on our community to come together and help stock the shelves of Century High’s food pantry, which provides essential food support to over 20 local families throughout the year.

From November 12th – December 11th, a food donation bin will be available in the Reedville Crossing Branch lobby. We’re seeking staple pantry items that can make a big impact for families in need:

• Pasta
• Sauce
• Peanut butter
• Soups
• Oatmeal
• Canned vegetables

Your contributions will make a direct difference, as food donations go to support local families and cash donations will help purchase fresh items like produce, eggs, milk, and other essentials that aren’t typically available through food drives. Plus, Forrit CU will be matching all donations collected up to $1,000! 

Over 40% of Century High students are food insecure, and this pantry provides consistent support with bi-weekly meal kits and fresh items all year long. Food insecurity can impact students’ GPA, attendance, and ability to thrive academically. By helping to stock this pantry, we can provide relief and stability to these students and their families, especially during the holiday season.
