Forrit Credit Union to Open a New Branch in Hillsboro

Forrit Credit Union (Forrit) plans to open a new branch in Hillsboro, Oregon in the early summer of 2022. Forrit is currently a single-branch credit union, and the new branch will operate as second branch location in the Portland metropolitan area.

For the past few years, Forrit members have expressed the need for additional branches outside of downtown Portland location that is more accessible in the community.

“We are really excited to not only be closer to our Washington County members but be better able to serve the community of Hillsboro. We look forward to being a positive impact on the wonderful people who live and work there.“ said President and CEO Justin Olson. “A few things that excited us about the opportunity to open a branch in Hillsboro is that we already have a wonderful group of members to serve there and the opportunity to share our services with the growing community. We feel strongly that we can make a positive impact.”

The new branch will be located in the Reedville community between Hillsboro and Aloha, one of the most rapidly growing communities in the Washington County. The Hillsboro branch will feature 24-hour ATM, personalized banking, and is convenient access off of TV Highway.

Both branch locations offer a full spectrum of services, including 24/7 phone access, 24-hour ATM, and financial counseling services.
