Promotion: The These Are My People promotion consists of two (2) separate contests, each of which require independent entries. Entry in one contest does not automatically enter you into the other. Limit one (1) entry per person, per contest during the Contest Period. Each contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Local Contest: This participating community financial institution and Kasasa are sponsoring this local contest as described in these Local Official Rules. These Local Official Rules apply solely to this (“Local Contest”, “Contest”). National Contest: Kasasa is also sponsoring a national contest as described in the National Official Rules that can be found at kasasacontest.com.

The These Are My People Contest begins 11/07/22, at 12:01 a.m. CST and ends at midnight 12/07/22 CST (“Contest Period”). Must be a permanent, legal United States resident who is physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands and other United States territories), and at least 18 years old and of the age of majority in their state of residence as of the start of the Contest Period to enter. If any minors appear in an entry, the entrant must be that minor’s parent or legal guardian. 1 entry only per person per contest. Entries may be submitted electronically using a provided QR code; the Contest’s designated website /landing page; or in branch. Entries must consist of (a) an accurate and completed entry form containing the entrant’s full name, email address, telephone number, zip code and (b) an original photograph (“Photo”) and (c) a statement (“Statement”) on the following prompt: Show and tell us about the special connection you have with your favorite person or people that mean the most to you and how you would use the prize together (“Prompt”), collectively (“Submissions”). All Submissions must be received within the Contest Period.

Entrants represent and warrant that their Submissions do not violate the rights of any third parties. Entrants grant Sponsors, any administrative, advertising, and promotional agencies Sponsors uses, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion or implementation, including all participating community financial institutions (collectively “Contest Entities”) a non-exclusive license to reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, stream, exploit, make derivative works of and otherwise use their Submission, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including without limitation commercial purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter in perpetuity. Entrants also agree that Content Entities have the right to publicize their Submissions without financial remuneration.

All Submissions will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Kasasa (“Judges”) based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”): (1) Statement (60%) – Statement should address the Prompt, be engaging with originality and clarity of expression and (2) Photo (40%) – creativity, composition, and presentation of the Prompt in the Photo. Ties will be broken by identifying the Submission with the highest number of judged points or by an additional Judge independently applying the Judging Criteria. Decisions of Judges are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest.

Prize recipients will be announced locally on 12/10/22 and nationally on 12/19/22. Local Contest Prizes: Local winners (“Local Winners “) and the dollar amount of local prizes is determined independently by each participating institution. National Contest Prizes: Kasasa reserves the right to select up to fifteen (15) runners up (“Runners Up(s)”); and five (5) potential finalists, (“Finalist(s)”) who will each receive a one-hundred-dollar ($100) gift card; collectively (“Prize Recipients”). Finalists’ Submissions will be evaluated by the Judging Criteria to identify two (2) first prize winner (“First Prize Winners”) who will receive $10,000 each and one (1) grand prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner”) who will receive $25,000, collectively (“Winners”). Estimated retail value of prizes is as stated, actual retail value may vary.

Local Winners, Prize Recipients and Winners will be notified by phone or email. Within two (2) days of such notification, Local Winners, Prize Recipients and Winners must respond and execute and return: an affidavit of return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, “Contest Documents”) and failure to do so, may result in disqualification. All who receive a prize are responsible for applicable taxes. Prizes are not transferable, and no substitutions are permitted.

Kasasa reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any entry.
